The University of New England was highlighted for being a Notable Online College in an article on bestschools.com, an online guide for top schools in Maine.

The article began by commending ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ for being named one of the top schools in the nation by the  for 2014/2015. This distinction recognized ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ for its superior communications, marketing, advertising and promotional work.

It continued by listing ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ as one of two schools known for having a wide range of accomplished online degree programs. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ's graduate certificate offerings were listed, as well as its online master's degree programs.
